This is from last Monday the 23rd

Ok, now, Monday the 23rd.
It was a travel day, but, we also had a concert that evening in Trieste.  We did some walking around at a piazza.  But, of course, was beautiful.  These are basically like our courtyard--court houses in the US.  They all look somewhat similar and have similar purposes.  South of this picture, is the sea.
David Tucker, this guy that basically showed us around and is the pastor/music leader at the church where we sing, sent us to his house and cooke us some amazing italian sausage!  It was the best sausage that I’ve ever had.  It was amazing.  The view from their house was amazing too.  It was a beautiful seascape, I was jealous.
The concert that night wasnt in a typical basilica.  It was a building surrounding other buildings, much like the churches in America, not so focused on the building as the focus and centerpiece of worship.  America has much more of a horizontal view of worship, not like the view in over in Italy and Catholic churches.  They have much more of a vertical view.  You can see this in the buildings and the height in the ceilings for example.
This was a great evening of worship.  This concert and the concert in Marano on Thursday are the only concerts where it is just us.  We sang a couple of worship songs that they congregation new in Italian and English.  This was a great view of God and the way that His worship is universal.  It was beautiful.
Side note.
Our director Dave Hook said, the next day, that he had a dream that night w/ me in it. He said that he came back to Italy a couple years later and I was leading a gospel choir and teaching people music lessons and leading them in worship every Sunday.  It was quite a humbling thought, because I personaly dont think I could ever do this.  A huge thing that his vision is in the program is to do stuff like this.  International worship experience and teaching other cultures and being taught by other cultures.  Who knows--maybe it’ll come true :)
Anyways, it was a beautiful night!!!!
